There were lots of thoughtful touches, like the bathroom fan timer, and parking right in front of the house was handy. Dinner was excellent, especially the local Kaspressknödel in Rindsuppe, just delicious. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the yogurt, jams, and fresh eggs were outstanding. Prices felt fair, and you can tell people put care into the place. A few small improvements: the shared wooden balcony could use a flower box divider for more privacy, soundproofing could be better, and the pillows could be more comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

It’s a small, charming hotel in a lovely quiet area, with direct access to the ski slope. In summer, there’s an outdoor pool. The restaurant is another real plus, open every day without a day off and serving late. It’s run by a young Russian couple who are putting a lot of effort and resources into developing and renovating the place. I wish them luck with the challenge of running the business, and plenty of success and prosperity.

For the area, this was the cheapest option, and the location is great. The room was clean but felt old and worn. The food was neither particularly good nor bad. After one night, I’d say it’s worth paying another 20-30Eur per night for somewhere better. The owners are from Russia, which might not sit well with some people these days.

My trip was cancelled because of a war, a month before check-in. I politely asked the hotel to take our situation into account and waive the cancellation fees, but they never replied, despite my trying to contact them several times. Their response toward us makes me wonder how they treat other guests too. Shame.
