Hotel Gasthof Neuner

Hotel Neuner has two huge parking lots, so parking is easy, and you're just seconds from the highway and a five-minute drive from the city. The hotel itself is very clean and cozy, with a modern feel alongside some antique character. Breakfast is already a great spread, and you can request custom items for a small extra charge. Its beautiful Imst setting gives you an amazing mountain view from the balcony, with snow-capped peaks on one side and trees on the other. A real gem and worth a stay if you're in Imst.

The restaurant was a highlight, with really good food. The room had a nice view over the city, and getting in and out of the hotel was easy.

The reception staff were kind, and when I asked for a book for my room, the woman there found one for me. The service was generally okay, too. Still, I left disappointed after my business trip. The hotel feels a bit old, and although the room itself was good, the thin windows let in too much noise. The soap and shampoo came in single-use sachets, with just one per night. I got three for my three-night stay. That was inconvenient and, to me, an ecological disaster. The restaurant was only passable. The Käsespätzle was the worst I've had, while the other dish I tried was okay. I wouldn't recommend the hotel or restaurant, though the hotel is sufficient for a business trip.

The sauna was a great way to unwind after the trip, and the food was spot on with no wait. My room was fantastic, and the staff were very helpful despite my limited German. I couldn't fault it. I'd book here again if I'm in the area.
