Almandin Apartments

The apartment was very sparsely equipped: no coffee maker, a TV that didn’t work, no dish towel, and only a grimy sponge. The bathroom was only suitable for very slim people. The welcome was very unfriendly, and Mrs. Walser was unaccommodating when we arrived. And beware of a vicious dog. We’ll never stay here again!

There wasn’t even a frying pan in the kitchen. The toilets were so cramped that anyone over 70 kg kept bumping into the toilet paper holder, wall, and shower. The shower drain was clogged, and the grout between the tiles was gone. The staff were unfriendly and quick to become abusive. It was impossible to communicate on equal terms. We won’t be visiting again.

The apartment had several problems. The shower leaked, some lights didn’t work, and the shampoo and soap were empty. The hairdryer was broken too. There wasn’t enough crockery, including plates, glasses, and cutlery. The only frying pan was extremely worn and barely worked. The layout wasn’t thought through well either, for instance, the toilet paper holder was right next to the toilet and made sitting down uncomfortable. The staff weren’t very friendly.

We had a wonderful apartment, everything was clean, and there were enough glasses. The landlady welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. We’d be happy to come back 😊
