Goldener Adler

We’d love to stay here again. The gluten-free meals were delicious, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the spa was modern and lovely. It’s well placed for the lifts, slopes and centre, while still being quiet at night. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful.

A beautiful à la carte breakfast and fantastic wellness, in a picturesque spot in the centre of Ischgl, close to the ski lift. Super hotel.

The staff are the hotel’s biggest asset. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready to do more for us. We booked half board and, although we usually like trying different restaurants, the food was so good that we ate here every night. The bar has seating indoors and out, with free nibbles, and the hotel was spotless. The spa, spread over three floors, was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, though be prepared for Europeans walking around naked. For skiing, the location is perfect: right in the centre, a few metres from the travellator to the gondola, and you can ski back to within 50 metres of the hotel if you take another route. The bottom can be a bit icy. We’ve just come back from a week in Ischgl and I really can’t fault the place. I’d definitely return.

The Kurz family and the rest of the team at Goldener Adler made our stay special. Everyone was kind and helped with all our group’s questions and needs. We also really enjoyed the spacious, stylish, very clean spa, with its different kinds of sauna, as well as the food. Hotel Goldener Adler is in a very central spot with easy access to the ski gondolas. We stayed with friends for a ski holiday and loved it.
