There were a few things missing in the chalet: no baking paper or kitchen roll, just one holey tea towel and a single toilet roll. The space under the sofa doesn't seem to get vacuumed or mopped, and the sheepskin cushions and blankets need regular washing. Otherwise, it's very clean. The indoor spa is really nice, though some hooks and towels would improve it, and sheepskin rugs on the terrace loungers would be a good touch. A free breakfast delivery once per stay would also be a nice bonus. Staff were very attentive and the breakfast selection was excellent. It's a very nice chalet, but the Advent decor was lacking, and the castle hotel didn't feel Christmassy either. I’d rate it closer to four stars than five.

It looked clean at first, but I don't think the chalet offers good value for money. In my opinion, it's unfortunately starting to show its age.
