Hotel Schlosshof

The front desk staff spoke only limited English and weren't very helpful with special requests. It felt like we were inconveniencing them. Breakfast, though, was wonderful.

The owners and staff made me feel at home right from arrival, with the kind of genuine warmth you don't find everywhere. I also loved the traditional, homely decor, especially around Easter, when eggs and bunnies gave the place a festive feel. The mountain views from the room were breathtaking, and waking up to them each day made for a peaceful escape from everyday life. Breakfast was tasty and carefully prepared, and the service paid close attention to the details. After time out in the cold, the well-kept sauna and pool were a lovely place to unwind. I stayed at the Schlosshof in Ischgl, tucked into the mountains, and came away with an unforgettable impression. The setting and facilities were excellent, and the hospitality made the stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone after a cosy, luxurious mountain break. It deserves its four stars and more.

The hotel feels cosy and welcoming, and breakfast was great. After a full day skiing, the spa was just right for relaxing tired muscles. It's a little off center, under a 10-minute walk from Silvrettabahn, but you can ski right back to the hotel on your way into Ischgl.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but the service disappointed us. Our window looked straight onto a wall just 2-3 meters away. The staff didn't smile, and they forgot to give us the code for getting into the hotel at night. The place had a bad vibe.
