The rooms were clean and spacious, and there's a kitchen guests can use. The owner was very nice and came over within a few minutes after we called to check in, since he lives across the street. Still, the first impression wasn't great: it's on the main road and there's no reception. The building used to be a local pub, and you can still smell cigarette smoke inside. I wouldn't choose it for a vacation, but it's definitely fine for a night while traveling through Austria.

I turned up late in the evening with no reservation and still got a very nice room at a low price. A grill next to the hotel serves wienerschnitzel. I'd definitely recommend this for someone just passing through who needs a bed for the night.
