Pension Lachmayr

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was great. My partner and I have never had tea that good, thank you! Our room was nice, cleaned daily, and had a balcony with a mountain view. The location is right in the middle of town, with restaurants, a supermarket, and a bus stop just outside, plus the lovely river coming down. The museum is a short walk away, and the hosts gave us good recommendations for hikes and sights. We also got the summer card, which gave us free access to everything, including buses, or a good discount. The place looks lovely too.

I chose this place for how central it is in Kaprun and for the included sauna. We had a double room with an extra bed for my daughter, a nice view of Maiskogel mountain, and a balcony facing the street. There's also table tennis and ski storage. The place has a lot of potential, but it felt to me like it hadn't been renovated in 20 years. The friendliness could improve too. Breakfast was okay, and the value for money was ultimately okay. With a bit more attention to guests and small fixes, like replacing the sauna lights and providing larger sauna towels, the experience could be better. At times I felt they didn't have enough time or staff for service.

Cosy and clean, though simple. The hosts were lovely, the location was good, and breakfast was proper. I'd definitely come back!

The room smelled bad, and so did the pillows. When I told the hostess, she got upset and did nothing. She was rude and shouted all the time, and didn't speak English or try to help us understand. The place should be closed if she can't show people even basic respect. I won't return and can't recommend it.
