The staff are very kind and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It feels homely, but the surfaces aren't laid out very practically. There isn't anywhere in the bathroom to put your things, so a mirror above the main table would help. The kitchen is average and the servings are plentiful, but the breakfast buffet is cramped and missing basic items. You even have to ask for hot water. With a few changes, it could be excellent.

Even though I checked in late, the staff were very friendly. My room was clean, with a view of the picturesque village church, and breakfast was generous. I've never stayed anywhere with a better price for what you get. I can highly recommend this place! Dr. Florian Posch, Graz, Austria

The location worked perfectly for hiking and cross-country skiing in both East Tyrol and the Dolomites. We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time, with excellent service and food. We'd love to come back!
