Kasperbauer

The quiet setting near Aschau is what makes this part of the Kirchberg area so special to us. With Gaisberg behind the farm and Gampenkogel, Brechhorn, Pengelstein, and Schwarzkogel around it, the balcony view towards Spießnägel and Rettenstein felt like paradise. We’ve hiked here several times before, but this is our favorite spot. We came this summer with our children and grandparents, and the large apartment at the top of Kasperbauer was just right for all of us, even for a longer stay. It sleeps up to 7, with lots of room, storage, good equipment, quality beds, and everything was spotless. We felt at home straight away. Johanna and Josef are such warm, calm, genuine hosts. In the evenings they often brought us farm eggs and fresh milk, sometimes bread too, and we’d have a little chat with Johanna. It was a lovely stay. Thanks so much, and best wishes!

Getting around by car was easy, and there are some good restaurants close by. We had a fantastic time in the apartment, and the hosts were really friendly. Just a great place to stay.

The farmhouse has a lovely playroom and lots of chances for the kids to play outside, so it’s easy to have a relaxing holiday here. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts are warm and full of good ideas for outings. You can get to quiet hiking paths as well as mountain adventure parks that work well for families.

We were looked after so well from the moment we arrived, with a really warm welcome and very kind hosts. The place itself is lovely, surrounded by peaceful scenery. Fresh milk and eggs, plus bread rolls brought each day, made the stay even nicer. We’ll be back for sure.
