Hotel Rasmushof

I’ve stayed here for skiing and biking many years in a row, and I really recommend the hotel. It’s a great place in summer too, especially for golf and biking. I’ve visited in both seasons; skiing is my personal favorite, though each is worth trying. The food is tasty, the staff are amazing, and the facilities, spa, bedrooms, and views are all great. It’s very convenient for the ski lifts and rental shops, and you can walk to pretty much everything. Mountain-facing bedrooms also look out toward the Hahnenkamm ski races. I hope to return someday!

What really sets the Rasmushof apart is the exceptional service throughout, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant. This was our third consecutive stay, and the number of returning guests says a lot. It’s a family-run traditional Austrian hotel with a wonderful spot at the foot of Hahnenkamm mountain. The views are magnificent, yet Kitzbuhel center is only a five-minute walk away. Inside, everything is pleasing to the eye. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with the amenities you’d expect, including bathrobes. The bathrooms are excellent, with a bath and a large walk-in shower, and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is outstanding, from fresh orange juice and a good pot of coffee to the extensive cold buffet and hot dishes made to order. Food is locally sourced where possible. The restaurant serves excellent traditional Austrian dishes, and in good weather you can eat al fresco in the lovely garden. There’s a very good wine list, and the prices are reasonable for the hotel’s standard. Friday night brings an extensive buffet and barbecue with live music, which was excellent too. Highest recommendation.

We drove all the way from London and arrived late last night to a lovely, warm welcome from David and Eliska. The whole crew were just as welcoming and nice this morning. The hotel is in an excellent location, with beautiful views and high-quality food. Highly recommend.

A dedicated staff runs this hotel extremely well, with great food and service in an incredible setting. The location in Kitzbühel is the best by far, and there are great activities in both winter and summer. The finest ski boutique hotel in the world.
