The view was pretty good, breakfast was good, and our room was clean and tidy. The kind older lady running the place was lovely. It’s an old villa about a 10-minute walk from the center, with lots of old junk scattered around. Our private bathroom was out in the hallway, the rooms weren’t soundproof at all, and Wi-Fi only worked by the front door, not in the rooms. For what we experienced, it was very poor value for money.

We had a great view over Kitzbühel and the Alps, and the pool was a good size and very relaxing. The friendly host and great breakfast were highlights. It’s a very unusual villa, full of old, odd things, and our room was clean.

We had prepaid for two rooms for two nights at Villa Mellon, but when we arrived the host wasn’t there. After we called, we were told the rooms had been rented to someone else. We were left stranded in town and had to find last-minute accommodation far away. That’s very unprofessional and no way to run a business. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

They were very welcoming, and we had a lovely stay at villa Melon. The breakfast was lovely too. We’ll definitely be back.

We arrived at 5:30 and found nobody inside. When we called, we were told our room wasn’t ready. What kind of hotel is this?
