Limehome Klagenfurt Karfreitstraße

We were left without a place to stay in Klagenfurt on a very busy United World Games weekend. We found a hotel with rooms for both nights, but had to switch rooms for the second night. Limehome refunded the hotel cost, but that didn't undo the major disruption or the three hours we spent trying to secure a bed, when we'd hoped to shower, change and relax. We arrived just after our check-in time and found the apartment hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. We'd had a very early start and were looking forward to a shower and a chance to rest before going out, so this was extremely disappointing. Eventually we reached a real person at the helpdesk, who said an email had been sent about the delay. It arrived 30 minutes after our scheduled check-in, and I don't routinely get email notifications, so I only saw it after calling. The app would be a much better place for notices like that. After going back and forth with the helpdesk, where it was impossible to reach the same person twice, we went to dinner and said we'd return at 6pm, by which time the apartment should be ready. At 5pm I got another email saying my booking had been cancelled. We never got to stay there.
