We stayed here through United World Games, and I’d definitely come back if the chance comes up. The newly renovated rooms were beautiful, with AC and a balcony. Beach access led to one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever come across, and there are free paddle boats. On our last day, the owner personally accommodated a change in occupants when my son and wife joined us. I’ll cherish that great memory. There’s also a convenient grocery store across the road on the way to the beach.

On my December stay, I left my chargers behind by accident and called the following day to ask if they could keep them for my next visit. When I came back in January, the receptionist couldn't find them. They offered to mail them, but the parcel that arrived a few days later held somebody else's things. The owner then blamed me, saying I had dealt with the situation the wrong way. I won't stay here again and can't recommend it. I'd stayed here several times for work over the past year. It was generally acceptable, though breakfast was sparse and the rooms felt uncomfortably cold in winter.

The private lakeside beach is a lovely place to relax, and you can take a pedal boat out on the water. It's peaceful and quiet there. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent, so I'd recommend this hotel for a visit to Klagenfurt.

Clean, roomy rooms, good breakfast and spa areas, and service that was just right. A great family hotel, recommended.
