There’s so much for kids at the farm: cows, chickens, ducks, cats, ponies, goats, plus a little playground and a pool. With the adventure park close by, the setting felt like paradise for our family. The Reitstätter family made us feel completely at ease, and we’ve never met a host family so understanding and child-friendly. We have three children and this was our second visit. We’ll certainly return, so book a year ahead. Grandma and Grandpa Reitstätter gave us an unforgettable night on the mountain pasture. We’re grateful for all the lovely experiences at Hackelhof. We spent eight wonderful days there in August.

There’s a pool and a seating spot with a barbecue in the garden, and a storage room for bikes. You can also get milk and eggs straight from the farm. The holiday apartments are very nice and clean, and the owners are there for their guests. You feel at home here. July 17, 2024: a calf was even born that day!

Our child had plenty to do, and the host family was friendly and helpful throughout our week at Hacklhof. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Best wishes, the Wagner family

The farm and apartments are lovely, and the location works perfectly for outings with children. We had a wonderful holiday with our two kids. The Reitstätter family were so warm, helpful, and friendly that we felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. We’ll definitely be back!

Our kids, who are 6 and 10, loved getting little glimpses of everyday life on the farm. We adults got to enjoy some quiet on the balcony, looking out at the mountains. The apartment was cozy and clean, and the hosts were exceptionally friendly. There are endless possibilities for outings nearby. Thanks for a great stay and for all the tips. We’d love to come again. The week was fantastic, but went by far too quickly.
