Pulvererhof

We watched the cows being milked one evening, and the owners were happy to tell us about their farm and the area. Such a lovely place, with lovely people. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and had a great view. It's a good base for exploring the region in summer or winter.

Bad weather limited what we could do during our week at Pulvererhof, but the owners always had excellent suggestions for activities. We were a family of five, two adults and three children, and would happily stay again. The apartment was bright, beautiful, and very clean, with tile and parquet floors, solid wood furniture, and two balconies. Its elevated position above the village gives it a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. We highly recommend it.

The Volland family are welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. They helped with a stuck car, shared information about the area, and even had snow removal equipment when we needed it. We also gladly bought their farm-fresh products. We've come several times in winter for skiing, with Reith, Alpbach, and even the Zillertal valley an easy trip away. Kramsach is also worth visiting in summer, as a base for hikes and all kinds of activities. The apartment is especially well located, quiet, and has a lovely view of the lake and Kramsach. The house is very well insulated against sound and heat, and despite being on a working farm, there's no barnyard smell. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook good meals for five, with plenty of solid-quality utensils. It's a great option if you're on a tighter budget, but the lower price doesn't mean cheap furnishings. Sustainability was a priority, and the solid real-wood furniture has a simple, timeless feel, neither stylish nor old-fashioned.

The landlady is lovely and attentive, and the apartment was spotless. It's a large, beautiful place, tastefully furnished, with care given to every detail. Perfect.
