Hotel Zum Goldenen Engel

The large suite had a lovely view of Stift Göttweig, and when we come back in cooler weather, we'll definitely try the sauna in the suite. The old town center is nearby, with plenty of good restaurants, and local bus number 3 stops right outside. Breakfast was among the best we've had, and really showed the generosity of the place. Try the homemade apricot jam, made with fruit from the pretty garden. We loved staying in this beautiful, comfortable inn. With eight generations in the hospitality business, the owners know how to look after guests, and they did so with real care and dedication.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast had lots of choices and was very good, and the internet worked really well. The rooms are large and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in the Old town, with many shops close by. There are two beautiful gardens, one next to the hotel and another uphill with a swimming pool and a marvellous view over the city. I recommend it if you're coming to Krems.

A family hotel with a pool, in a very good spot near the center and a great base for exploring the Wachau region. Breakfast was excellent, generous, and made with quality ingredients. Alex provided excellent service and took amazing care of the guests.

Breakfast was the best we've had in Austria, and Alex and the team took such good care of us this weekend. Staying here was a pleasure. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, about 1 km, but definitely worth it. Highly recommended. Thanks, Alex! We'll be back for sure.
