Platzhirsch Kufstein

I had such a good meal here earlier in the year that I came back for lunch today while I was in Kufstein. Maxi was there again, and he's just great: helpful, polite, friendly, cheerful and professional. He really makes the dining experience. A big shout-out to him and all the staff I saw, from one very happy diner.

We weren't staying at the hotel, but we'll definitely come back for breakfast. The hot chocolate and French toast were delicious, probably some of the best I've ever had, and my friend's bacon and eggs were really good too. Service was lovely the whole time. The young woman serving us was friendly, attentive and patient with our limited German.

I only stopped in for breakfast, and it was nice. The croissant was the best I've ever had, and their mocha was nicely made. Service was very nice too. The building has fancy-looking architecture, but the prices are affordable. I'd recommend checking it out.

I stayed for two weeks and loved it! The modern, minimalist rooms are beautifully designed, with a gorgeous rustic finish throughout the hotel. You can tell a lot of love went into it, and I felt comfortable even in the crazy heat. It's in a lovely spot near the river, right in the centre, and I took walks whenever I could. It felt super safe, and people all around were friendly. On Wednesdays, I got to enjoy music and dancing outside by the cafe with a nice wine or delicious cold beer. The team was wonderful, attentive and thoughtful. My one wish is for dimmable room lights. They were quite bright, and it'd be great to adjust them, though maybe I missed how to do that. Apart from that, perfection! And you must try the beef paprika stew at the café. Too yummy, I'm still dreaming about it.
