Coming back to Huben after such a long time was really nice. We loved our stay in the beautiful, very clean apartment. The location is ideal, with several lovely walks starting nearby, and a small supermarket, bakery, café, restaurant and more all within walking distance. Thanks for such a lovely holiday, Vicky!

The place didn't appeal to us, and we can't understand the positive reviews unless they're from family or friends. After a long drive, the welcome felt like a cold shower. The hostess seemed as if she'd had one too many drinks. The apartment was far too small for the price, and the so-called free starter pack was poor: a sponge, a rag, 20 ml of dish soap, one dishwasher tablet and a plastic bag. The cupboards were half-washed. I had enough pods with me, so at least everything we used was clean. There was short hair on one bed, and, oddly enough, rabbit droppings on the balcony. The place smelled strongly of perfume meant to cover cigarette smoke. With streetlights right by the window and no curtains, there was no privacy unless you shut the flimsy curtain, which blocked the view both ways. Every door has a card slot, and if it breaks, you're in trouble. The kitchen looked as if someone had tried hard not to use it. There was a Dutch oven in the cupboard that looked salvaged from a dump, and the oven had no gloves or dish. I didn't report anything. You'd expect some decency and care for guests, and people know what is appropriate in an apartment, but they have to be willing to do it. I'd rather keep my distance from someone with certain problems. Best of luck, it seems you need it. And that's without even mentioning that you have to leave everything spotless, with a €100 fine attached to everything. We didn't let it spoil things and enjoyed all the beautiful places in the area. We've already found new places to stay.

We had a wonderful week in Huben and would gladly return. The apartment was fantastic and spotless, the price was fair, and Vicky was great to communicate with. Ski bus, bakery, supermarket and ski rental are all very close. Thanks, Vicky, for saving the day! Highly recommended.
