Hotel Bergwelt

We're definitely coming back! The staff were super friendly, the food was excellent and served in very generous portions, and the rooms were huge with clean bathrooms. The Aqua Dome access is included in the price, which is a nice extra. Great value for what they offer.

The hospitality really stood out. We arrived late, around 8:30 PM on our first day, and they still made dinner for us. Another day my wife wanted schnitzel, though we hadn't ordered it ahead of time. We expected to pay extra, but they insisted on making it at no additional cost. The hotel also has a ski room, sauna, and swimming pool, great for unwinding after a day on the slopes. It's a fantastic place for hiking too, with lots of trails nearby, and Sölden is only a 15-minute drive away.

We had a fantastic stay, and the whole team deserves thanks. The hotel is very family friendly, with a great kids club run by Victoria. Half board was excellent, including options for children. After skiing, we loved the outdoor pool, and there is also a larger indoor pool and a relaxing spa.

The Aquadome deal was a real plus, and the bag with bathrobes, towels, and slippers was a thoughtful touch. Aquadome is a must visit, especially the Sauna. We booked it with the man at the check-in desk, who was much more helpful and made the process go smoothly. We had a suite with a large shared balcony and a wonderful mountain view, but there was a full ashtray on the outside table and a cigarette packet on the floor when we arrived. The room was clean, but dated, with a worn floor. The bathroom was below average, and the amenities felt like another place where they had cut costs. Breakfast was horrible: nothing seemed fresh, there was a fly plague around the buffet, and the meat and fruit were dried out. No fresh juice or strong coffee either, just supermarket quality microwaved pancakes and sweet breads. The bakery across the street has delicious breakfast packages with fresh juice and better coffee, and they speak English. At the restaurant, the staff couldn't speak English, and nobody explained the fixed seating. You have to use your own reserved table every time, with no choice, even if the people nearby are loud or have screaming children. We also couldn't sit outside in the lovely sun. Check-in was stressful and took too long. Making guests feel welcome doesn't seem to be their strongest skill, and that hurt the whole experience. We chose this hotel for its location and all the glowing reviews online. It has so much potential to be an awesome hotel.
