Our experience was terrible. We booked the hotel in January for a June vacation, then called on our check-in night to say train delays would make us a little late. Staff told us there were no rooms, even though they could see our booking. They apologized and offered to help find another hotel, which we took as a kind gesture in a stressful situation. Thankfully, we booked somewhere else. When we checked in there, we saw that Hotel San Marco had charged our card 300 dollars more than the cost of the new room. We called back, but they didn’t care. They said they were charging us for a room at their hotel, even though where we actually stayed was nowhere near Hotel San Marco’s level. They refused to help or refund the difference. It may be a nice hotel, but the staff showed no integrity or care for customers, even when the original screw-up was the hotel’s fault.

For a one-night stop on the way somewhere, this is a perfect option. It’s a nice 3 star hotel near both the motorway and a petrol station, and good value for money. Check-in was self-service: our room keys were in a locker, and the code had been emailed to us. The rooms were clean, functional, warm, and roomy. Breakfast was quite honest and complete.

The rooms are better than you’d expect for the price, with a nice bath, and the hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and breakfast is very good. The connected restaurant had a nice atmosphere and, as of March 2013, was run by Italians, so you could get real Italian food in Graz (Austria).

The staff were wonderful and professional, and breakfast was great. The hotel is well maintained, with spotless rooms cleaned every day. I highly recommend it.

It was a good experience, and we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located near the A2. Our room was large and clean, and so was the bathroom. Breakfast had a great variety. We’ll tell our friends about how much we enjoyed it.
