We could ski almost right to the door, and there’s a bus stop just outside. In summer, there are lovely trails and lakes nearby, with fresh air and beautiful mountain views. We’re already hoping to return to Lech am Arlberg and MATS in both seasons. Our apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable and well equipped. The pool and sauna made it easy to unwind, and the hotel itself is beautifully put together, with care in every detail. Breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of tasty local produce. The Mathis family made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. They were warm, friendly, attentive, and quick to answer our questions. The whole staff helped make the atmosphere relaxed. We left feeling rested and very happy with our stay.

The views from the room and all around the hotel were hard to beat, and the spa was top notch, from the pool to the sauna. Breakfast was outstanding, with a huge choice and fresh juice. The rooms are spacious, recently refurbished, and have pretty much everything you might need. The shower amenities could use an update, maybe refillable dispensers. Service was smooth throughout, with a special mention to Rosi. Mr Mattis was flexible, too. The service was five-star, though the humor could get a little dark at times. For the price, it felt like good value, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lech.

The pool, steam room, sauna, and infrared treatment were all included, just what I wanted after a long day on the slopes. MATS Lech was a wonderful place to stay, with a friendly team, a beautiful setting, and a great location. I’d love to come back next season for another girls’ trip.

Breakfast was superb, and the hotel is right in the center. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious, and the staff were super friendly and resourceful. Awesome place to stay. I’d happily return next time I’m in Lech.

I had to miss the long-planned weekend in Lech with my friends because of Covid. We’d booked knowing it was non-refundable, but the owners kindly didn’t charge me at all. My friends had a fantastic time and loved the hotel. I hope I get to try it next year.
