Appartements Delano

A peaceful, wonderful place that’s just right for a winter break with children!

The place is peaceful, and it was easy to unwind there. Kids are welcome, and so are well-behaved dogs, which I really liked. The apartment building is family-run, spotlessly clean, and cozy, with lovely details everywhere. The hostess made us feel very welcome, and you can see the care that goes into the place. They also offer bread rolls delivered, which was a nice touch. We couldn't find anything to complain about. We'd happily recommend it and come back for the warm hospitality.

The owners were really friendly and helpful, and several hiking paths start right outside the apartment. We walked to the Stuibenfall waterfall too. Apartment 2 is in Niederthai, about a 15-minute uphill walk from Umhausen, with mountains all around. There are a few restaurants in the village, though you'll need to go to Umhausen for a supermarket. The Tauferbergrunde is one of the nearby trails and has a fun geocaching hunt for kids, with no stroller needed. Inside, the recently renovated apartment (2021) is modern and very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, roomy bedrooms, and a comfortable dining and living area.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and gave us great ideas for excursions. We spent our autumn holiday in Apartment 2 and had a wonderful time. It was spotless, bright, and had huge rooms, lots of space, and a fantastic view of the mountains. Thanks for such a lovely holiday.
