The chalet and its service team are wonderful. The food is excellent, and Patrick, Ivan, Ana, and Valentina were so caring and friendly. They were right on top of everything. Breakfast was our favorite. We’ve made The Arula Chalet our annual ski trip destination for the past few years, but the back office concierge and management made things very difficult for us this year. They handled several problems badly, including an issue with refrigerated medication, dinner reservation mistakes, airport transport and safety concerns, and long delays in communication. For example, the chalet arranged an airport ride for part of our group, but the driver left them at the wrong chalet and drove away, leaving them out in the cold and dark snow at 11:30pm. There was no apology or follow-up. It felt like the chalet didn’t care. The team also seemed less proactive. We missed the regular contact we’d had in past years with Claudia and the other management, who used to resolve problems quickly.

The ski-in, ski-out access was exceptionally convenient, and when anyone in our party needed a pickup, the drivers arrived within minutes. We spent a very pleasant week before Christmas 2023 at the Arula chalets, which are extremely well run. Ivan and Patrick set a very high standard for customer service. Lech is a great resort, and I can’t recommend Arula highly enough. Claudia was publicly recognized as the winner for best GM in a luxury resort, which comes as no surprise. The whole team made our group’s trip special.

I’ve just returned from the Arula Chalets. I was with a big group of friends, and after dinner we had games, pool parties, spa sessions, and chats in the hot tub. The service was amazing, and the food was 10/10. I’m vegetarian and they catered well for me, as they did for a friend with allergies.
