Hotel Albona Nova

The staff made this feel like a family Christmas, and their care and warmth were the best part of our stay. We were there over Christmas 2025, and the festive atmosphere was lovely. It’s a solid four-star hotel, with amenities that fit that level. For skiers, Zürs is very convenient: the slopes are a minute’s walk away. They suit intermediate skiers better, though, so the beginners in our group took the ski bus to Lech. It stops just one block from the hotel. Breakfast was tasty but could have had more variety. Also, some rooms face away from the slopes at the back and feel more remote. We had one of those rooms. Still, we had a wonderful stay with great service and high spirits. Highly recommended for a memorable Christmas holiday.

We had an amazing winter holiday here and will definitely be back. Great staff, a lovely wellness area and a super atmosphere, all at good value for money. It was our first visit. Thank you!

My first ski trip in Austria was a happy one, and staying at Albona Nova was a big part of that. The food was great, especially dinner, and the staff looked after me really well and were always helpful. The hotel is very close to the lift. Whether you can ski in or out depends on the snowfall. At worst, you walk about 15 meters with your skis before reaching the lift, which really isn’t bad.

The food was gourmet and very high quality, which I especially appreciate because I have very high standards for what I eat. My only real drawback was that there wasn’t a salad bar every evening. I like to eat a lot of salad, and although the kitchen served it as a first course almost every day, the portions were modest. The staff and owner were extremely kind and focused on the guests. The hotel itself is wonderful, with very clean, well-kept rooms of a satisfactory size. The bed was comfortable, though a little small for me and my daughter, which was a slight inconvenience. I’d come back again!
