We spent a week in the upper apartment in July 2021 with our children, who were 3 months, 5 years, and 8 years old. The landlords were wonderful and especially friendly. The view from both the kitchen and balcony is breathtaking, with mountains and meadows all around. Three hiking trails head off from the house in different directions, and it’s perfectly placed for excursions in the area. Shops are a 10-minute drive away. The apartment was very clean and simply furnished.

That cozy spot beside the tiled stove in the big kitchen was our favorite after a frosty day skiing. The apartment had lots of space for the five of us, and the hosts made us feel welcome and helped us out. Fresh bread delivery and Caro's delicious homemade apricot jam got each day off to a lovely start. We had a wonderful few days in the beautiful Pitztal valley 🙂

The mountain views are beautiful, and the welcome was warm. The apartment is a spacious two-bedroom place in a quiet little hamlet, well located about a 15-minute drive from two good ski resorts. The price was reasonable. The decor is a little dated, but it’s very clean and well equipped, which is what matters.

Florian Melmer is a perfect host, clearly concerned about his guests, and we had a wonderful ski vacation at the Melmers' in Apartment B. It’s comfortable and has what you need; the kitchen isn’t new, but works perfectly well. One issue came up with the cost: after arranging for six people to stay in a place designed for five, we hadn’t clearly agreed in advance on the extra fee, and had to pay €20 more than the online price for the additional person. We also paid the tourist tax but didn’t get a guest card.

For eight years now, I’ve been coming to this house, mainly for winter sports holidays. The people are lovely and friendly, the house is lovely, and there’s a slope 15 km away.
