I'm injured at the moment and can't get around easily, so a few times I briefly used their completely empty lot to cross the slope and visit my family nearby. A woman on staff confronted me aggressively and yelled as though I'd done something outrageous. I was only trying to avoid a long, painful walk, but there was no understanding or compassion, just hostility. The service was incredibly rude and unprofessional, and I've rarely felt so unwelcome. The food was forgettable at best and not worth the price either. I wouldn't recommend this place for food, comfort, or basic hospitality. There are much better spots nearby where people know how to treat guests like human beings.

From the sunny terrace just off the Schlösskopfe piste, you get an amazing valley view. The service was superb, and so was the food. I had the spinach spazle, Wiener schnitzel and apfelstrudel, and loved all three.

We had a meal outside on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day. The food was good, service was pleasant and quick, and the waitress was really kind. We'll definitely visit again. 😉👍

The fish soup alone is worth coming for, and the burgers are yummy too. There's a good wine list and a great terrace right on the piste. A real insider tip for the restaurant.

We came back to Formarin after fifteen years and found it just as wonderful as we remembered. The cuisine was outstanding, the rooms and facilities were lovely and modern, and the Famille Bischoff were gracious. It's also a great ski in and out location.
