We had to end our holiday early because of a torn cruciate ligament, but can still wholeheartedly recommend Pension Waldhof in Zug. The valley station in Zug is only a three-minute walk away and opens up the whole ski area. Lech is a pleasant 20-minute walk, and the bus connections are excellent. We were there for New Year's Eve skiing. The room was cozy and charming, breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts were very friendly.
