After a cramped night in the dormitory at the Freiburg Hut, that comfortable bed was a real treat. The room and bathroom were both spacious, and toiletries and a hairdryer were provided. Breakfast was good too, and now we’re ready to carry on along the Lechweg trail.

Coming back from a walk to find the rooms cleaned every day was such a treat. The pool was perfect, and there are restaurants nearby. It’s a peaceful little paradise with a magnificent setting, quiet enough to feel like you’re alone in the world. The bakery, small SPAR supermarket, and bus stop are all close. The apartment had everything for cooking, from dishes to a stovetop, plus a Nespresso machine and dishwasher. It was magical, and I’ll treasure the memories. We’ll definitely return.

The housekeeper was really nice, and we felt very comfortable here. We enjoyed a bit of evening relaxation in the pool, then had a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

The road up is so steep that it’s impassable in winter without an SUV. We had to ask the Tannbergerhof for help, and they came to our aid with snow chains. Thank you! The room was wonderful and breakfast had plenty of variety, but we won’t return in winter.
