We used this place as a stop on our way through to Croatia. It’s fairly secluded, though Leoben is just a 10-minute drive away. Our hosts, an older lady and her son, were very friendly, and dogs are welcome too. The room had everything we needed for a stopover, and breakfast was lovingly prepared. Many thanks to our hosts, Jana and Marko from Germany.

The drive in got quite adventurous near the end... The owner was friendly, the room was okay, and breakfast was fine too. It worked for one night while we were passing through.

At night, you can hear the steelworks down in the valley, and the place feels very remote and somewhat run-down. It wasn’t very inviting. The furnishings are basic and some are worn, and there was no hairdryer. With breakfast tea, we got rum and schnapps instead of fresh fruit and yogurt. This accommodation seems more suited to construction workers.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the bathroom had everything I could need. It was my first stay with Mr. Wagner at his lovely rustic place. My room was very nice and clean. I can only recommend the Wagner private rooms in Galgenberg, 8700 Leoben. I’ll be spending another vacation there soon.
