Salzburger Hof

The half board was the best we had on our Euro trip, and the afternoon snack after biking was such a welcome treat. Breakfast impressed us too, both for its range and quality. The hotel is hard to beat for location, just steps from the cable car for Leogang bike park. More than that, the staff were warm and friendly, and always made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony and chairs overlooking the bike park. The pillows seemed thin, but after we asked the front desk, extra ones were waiting when we got back from dinner. We visited in September and were comfortable, but there’s no air-conditioning. Evenings cooled down nicely then, though midsummer might be different. In that case, asking for a room on the other side could help avoid the evening sun. Everything added up to a fantastic stay. Thanks for the farewell gift and to the entire staff at Salzburger. I can’t wait to come back one day.

I’m usually pretty critical, and I almost never write reviews because I can’t be bothered. But this was our first visit, and on our last night I felt I had to make an exception. I honestly can’t find anything to criticise. The food was good, the spa was a winner, and the location is excellent for skiing. It was quiet, with very few children, and the staff were friendly and helpful. All good. I WILL BE BACK! :)

The rooms were clean, but looked tired, with dated interiors and cheap details like the curtains. The food wasn’t good, although breakfast did have a fresh juice bar, and service at the hotel wasn’t good either. The spa, gym, and activity list were wonderful, but I wouldn’t return or recommend it to friends or family.

The rooftop infinity pool was unforgettable, swimming with panoramic Alpine views, and the fitness room’s mountain outlook made exercise feel inspiring. We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Salzburger Hof Leogang, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Dinner and breakfast were superb, fresh, varied, and delicious, with a wide selection and great quality. The afternoon cakes were a treat with excellent coffee and well-selected wines. Our modern, comfortable room was beautifully designed, with thoughtful details throughout. The hospitality, facilities, and food make Salzburger Hof Leogang a real gem in the Alps. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
