The owner was super friendly, and the facilities and amenities were amazing. On arrival, we got a pleasant, friendly welcome, with crystal clear directions to the car park, ski lockers, and rooms. We were satisfied with the place overall, though we have two reservations. The outdoor area was closed off around 8pm, making it look like it was no longer operating, and it didn’t stay warm enough at night. I wish it had stayed open longer and been kept up to temperature. The breakfast buffet could also use more fresh, authentic salads, a selection of fish, and perhaps different regional breakfast sausages.

We stayed at Edelweiss for seven days. The setting is great for mountain hikes, and after a long one, the sauna and Hallenbad were extremely relaxing. Our room was excellent, and breakfast was huge and tasty. The food was usually good, though the restaurant service varied. Some staff were kind, while a few others weren’t very friendly or polite.

The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. When we asked for a kettle, it arrived with two cups just a few minutes later. We had a large, comfortable room with a sofa, plenty of space to hang clothes, drawers, and a safe. The breakfast and dinner were the best we’ve ever had in Europe. There was lots of choice at breakfast, and the half-board menu was lovely every night. My husband and I stayed at the Edelweiss for four nights a week ago. It’s a large, interesting hotel, and we hope to return next June. We didn’t use the pool or sauna, though they all looked very nice.

The pool is big enough for training, and the mountain view from it is breathtaking. I’m a runner and went on lots of runs here, with some good climbs. The staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits between the mountains. Breakfast was excellent, and the evening restaurant was good. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We made great use of the pool and spa, and the food was fabulous. Our room was clean, with fantastic views from the balcony. Wonderful hotel, would thoroughly recommend.
