We loved the mountain-view room, despite its smelly carpet, and the wellness area was spotless, with a range of saunas. The food was delicious and carefully prepared, and most of the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. But a rude checkout overshadowed the rest of our three-night stay, and we won’t return. We’d booked two full-body massages and had written confirmation. One was rescheduled to the following day because of a scheduling problem. At checkout, though, the bill showed one full-body massage and one “Aroma Oil” massage, which we hadn’t booked or received. When we questioned it, the receptionist called the spa and was told, “Masseuse X only provides Aroma Oil massages,” as though that made it acceptable to change our booking without asking. She brushed us off by saying, “It is only 2€, I can give you a discount if you do not want to pay.” The charge wasn’t the point. Her tone felt condescending and humiliating. For the first time in years, I wondered if my skin color affected how I was treated. If you have dark skin, consider carefully before booking.

The food was incredible, and I found the clean, calming spa a great place to recharge. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. It was a magical experience, and I’d absolutely recommend spending time here.

We’ve stayed at the Mohr Life Resort twice now, and it fits beautifully with the magnificent region. The Zugspitze is kept in view from all sorts of places, whether you’re in your room, at the bar or restaurant, or in the spa or gym. There are plenty of high-quality activities led by very professional instructors. Thank you, Bernhard. The guests always seem to be the focus, and the staff were so kind. We’ll be back.

We’ve returned for a second visit and were again so happy with the service. The spa is the best we’ve been to, the food is delicious, and there are lots of activities nearby. We also loved the gym. Thanks to everyone for making us feel part of such a lovely place. We’ll definitely come back in summer.

The spa and restaurant balcony both have stunning mountain views. The spa itself is huge, gorgeous and clean, with lovely comfortable loungers, lots of pools and saunas, and it never felt crowded. There were snacks, fruit, tea, water and fresh towels available in the spa areas. The food was phenomenal, from the salad bar and breakfast to the four-course dinner, with good vegetarian and vegan choices. Breakfast, a light lunch and afternoon cakes were included, while drinks cost extra. The service was amazing. Our older, unrenovated room was fine, but dated, had no air conditioning and looked onto the parking lot. Even so, we loved our stay and highly recommend it.
