We stumbled across Haus Sonnwinkl and fell in love with it right away. Our summer holiday in 2023 is one we’ll remember for the rest of our lives, and we’ll definitely return. The place is quiet and away from the rush of St. Gilgen’s center. Our fully equipped apartment had everything a family could need, and the garden was peaceful and well kept, with a fireplace. We got hooked on sitting on the cozy little balcony to watch the late afternoon sunsets. The owners, Mrs. Rosemarie and her husband Hans, are lovely. They’re always helpful, smiling, and hardworking, and they love children. They also have a very charming sense of humor. Martin & Jana & Eliška

Such kind hosts, always ready to help. The location is perfect for exploring the different sights nearby. We loved the garden and its glass pavilion for warm summer evenings with a fresh Austrian white wine. Simply superb.

The garden is lovely and well cared for, with a great spot to unwind in the evening or play the board games they provide. From the apartment, you get a fantastic view of the Zwölferhorn, St. Gilgen, and the Schafberg. Inside, it’s lovingly furnished and very clean, with plenty of cooking gear and dishes. They’ve thought of everything. The owners put their heart into making it a wonderful holiday, and it shows. If you want peace and quiet while still having a good base for excursions, this is the place. We’ll be back. Everything was top-notch!

Our cozy, country-style apartment was wonderfully clean. The hosts warmly welcomed us and our little daughter, even though we arrived much too early. They were thoughtful and accommodating, and we’re already looking forward to visiting again. The Heimberver family
