Weingut Lieschnegg

We came with a group to celebrate a birthday, and the warm, friendly welcome continued throughout the following days. The snacks were always friendly served and incredibly delicious, and the house wine was very tasty. The pool added to the fun, and the good wine lifted everyone's spirits. The price for what you get is absolutely fair. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

Hubert & Heike are so warm and attentive that you feel they know what you need before you ask. Meals, from breakfast to the others, are made with so much care and attention to detail. The personal hospitality and delicious food made our stay at the Lieschnegg Winery really special. We also loved having the pool to cool off in the heat, and the kids enjoyed it too. The little playground and sandpit were a highlight for them. We'd love to come back!

I had booked two rooms for two nights to visit family in southern Styria. When my friend needed emergency surgery, I suddenly took responsibility for her dog for a few days and asked whether I could bring him. They refused, saying dogs weren't allowed under the terms and conditions. I had to cancel and was charged a 90% cancellation fee. Later, when I read those terms, I was astonished to see that dogs can be brought for a fee with the owner's "permission." The whole thing leaves a very bitter taste.

We had a clean, roomy room with a balcony, and the area is great for hiking and cycling. The cheerful hosts served everything with enthusiasm. Breakfast was delicious, and the afternoon snack was superb, carefully prepared with homemade products.
