Courtyard by Marriott Linz

We felt so well looked after during our short time in Linz. The front office and breakfast and dinner restaurant teams were professional, courteous, and friendly, which made the stay relaxing and enjoyable for my wife and me. Thanks so much, we'll be back.

Breakfast was okay, but below what we'd expected. The room itself was nice, though cleanliness could have been better. I've stayed at many Mariots, and this was the most outrageous and least pleasant experience of them all. The brand had set my expectations high, so this was a real disappointment. We chose to dine at the hotel and paid over 100 euro, but the service was understaffed and struggling. We waited almost an hour for the starter, there were long gaps between courses, and my steak arrived cold. There were a few other issues, but we didn't want to burden the staff. I asked specifically for pancakes to take away because I hate cheesecake, but cheesecake was brought to our room instead. That was resolved. I'm sorry, but I definitely wouldn't recommend eating here. The service wasn't good, and we got food poisoning and suffered for the whole following day. We're really disappointed.

The breakfast spread was fresh and plentiful, and the staff were lovely. It's a short walk from the city center, too. The restaurant menu is limited, but reasonably priced and has choices for everyone.

We brought our dog, and the room had a dog bed and bowl, a really nice touch. The hotel is clean, modern, and has great facilities and staff. Parking was great, and the gym was well equipped.
