Limehome Linz Friedrichstraße

We spent almost two hours waiting outside a locked door, and the whole experience was awful. The address listed was wrong. If you've already booked, the correct address is schulestraße 3. After a long search we found the entrance, but the door code didn't work. Customer service asked us to send a WhatsApp video of the keypad to find out what was wrong. It turned out the battery was empty, which could easily have been prevented. They said a technician was on the way and promised to keep us updated with an ETA. After an hour, we called again ourselves and learned nobody was coming. Their only offer was a room with a single bed, despite there being two of us. No apology, nothing. We eventually had to get a refund through Airbnb, not from the host, and book across the street at Arte Hotel, which I do recommend. Worst experience ever. Would NOT recommend.

Nice location, but there was no TV for four days. I politely asked the hotel staff to fix it on the first day.

The location is convenient and the room was very well equipped, so at first we thought we'd found a hidden gem. Then the music started and the smell of weed drifted through the halls. The downstairs neighbors played it super loud from 7pm to 3am, and Limehome customer service was absolutely useless, offering no solution. My mother couldn't sleep for her entire stay, even with earplugs. If you value being able to sleep at night, don't stay here!

Getting into the room was pretty smooth, and it was fine apart from a few spots. What I didn't like was having to post a selfie and photos of my ID before getting access, even though I'd already paid. That exposes me to possible identity theft, which is very serious. The hotel should spare guests that worry. Had I known before booking, I would've gone elsewhere.
