The rooms were clean, roomy, and full of natural light, and the kitchen has enough equipment if you want to cook. They’ve also added an elevator, which is useful after a day of walking. You can request a spot in the underground garage for an extra charge. The building itself is older, from the middle of the 20th century, but the rooms have been renovated well. It was our second stay, and we liked it enough the first time that we plan to come back when we're in Linz. Getting around on foot is easy, with a bus stop right in front of the building. The Danube is two minutes away, and Lentos museum and the Bruckner hall are also just a few minutes away. The University Hospital is about a kilometer's walk. We had a garden-facing room, and it was lovely and quiet. There’s a hairdryer and an iron with an ironing board too, so you don't need to bring those along. I mean, who travels with an ironing board? 🤣 Looking forward to the next visit.

The apartment was uncomfortable and poorly maintained, and the hosts were slow to respond. The bedroom ceiling light flickered so badly we couldn't use it. We reported it, but nobody replaced the bulb, so we were left in the dark. The dishwasher was broken too. There was a note saying it would be sorted as soon as possible, but it wasn't fixed during our stay. There's no washing machine in the apartment, and the one in the office that guests are directed to use was broken as well. The worst issue happened on our first day. We switched on the empty oven to preheat it for lunch, and it filled the apartment with a cloud of toxic smoke and the smell of burning plastic. The fire alarms went off. Maintenance came to silence them, and we opened all the windows, but the toxic air lingered until late at night. We asked to move to a safe apartment, but were told there was no availability. They offered a 10% discount, which didn't make up for having to sleep in polluted air or being unable to use the oven for the rest of our stay. For the price, the facilities were extremely badly maintained.

Online check-in made things easy for travelers who might not arrive in time to pick up keys in person, and the service was incredible. The apartments are also in a great spot in Linz, about 13 minutes on foot from the city center, or less by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the complex. Our room was incredibly clean and had all the necessary devices.

I slept really well, the bedroom bed was super comfortable, and the apartment was calm and enjoyable. Mine was e5.07, a beautiful, spacious place in a minimalist retro style, with everything equipped. It was clean and tidy, and I could easily prepare meals in the kitchen, which has a stove and other amenities. There was an iron too, which came in handy. Picking up the keys was easy, from the storage box at the gate entrance. I had asked to have the heating turned on before I arrived, and that was taken care of.
