Dankl

The location is fantastic, with ski lifts within walking distance in winter and lovely hiking trails right outside in summer. We've returned to Hotel Dankl again and again for ski trips and summer hikes, and each time feels like coming home. The hotel is always clean and tidy, the atmosphere is homey, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and familiar, which adds to that warm feeling. The rooms are nice and spacious, great for a family holiday. Breakfast is really good, and the patisserie is a must for its amazing cakes and best ice cream. They also make a really good pizza. We love coming back and give Hotel Dankl our highest recommendation! Fam. Ravn

The food was great each of the three times we ate here, and the service was excellent. It’s a cosy, very clean restaurant, with attentive staff who are quick to help. Prices felt reasonable given how expensive everything is these days. I noticed several families coming back each time we did too, and I can see why. One of my favourite places in Lofer.

On a warm day, sitting outside with coffee and a fresh slice of strudel would be hard to beat. The handmade cakes, pastries and other sweets are lovely to look at and taste just as good. We came for lunch and were really happy with the freshly made pizzas, and the friendly, helpful service too.

The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms were great, and the staff were lovely. There’s even a restaurant and patisserie in the same building. It’s also very close to the lifts, with ski storage and parking available. Dankl rocks!
