The service was excellent, and the venue is beautiful. The trout is locally caught and so fresh, though no, it's not actually flapping around on your plate, you know what I mean. A fabulous restaurant, probably the best in Lofer. Highly recommend it.

We stayed just one night, but the guesthouse's atmosphere felt wonderfully Austrian. Everyone on staff was so kind, and we got a really good welcome. The refurbished rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with a great choice of pastries and fruit. Highly recommend!

The decor is lovely, and the service was both fast and excellent. I've eaten at Forellenstube twice now, and each time I was very pleased. The trout is clearly fresh and tender, with the meat coming right off the bone. I don't usually leave ratings, but I had to after two such good meals.
