Hilltop Appartement

The guest garden terrace was a real highlight, with lovely views over Lofer and the surrounding area. We used the barbecue one evening and had a great night in. Inside, the apartment feels modern but still homely. The kitchen has all the appliances you need, and thoughtful touches like the ready-to-use Amazon Alexa made things easy. There’s also an unadvertised play area for children, which worked well for our small family. Laura, the owner, was wonderfully approachable and happy to help with anything. We’ve just come back from 10 nights at Hilltop Apartment and will certainly return. It made for a superb family holiday.

We’ve stayed at Hilltop Appartment three times now, and I’d happily come back again. Laura keeps adding little extras and looking for ways to make the place more comfortable. She takes real pride in it, and she’s warm, genuine, and willing to go out of her way to help. Our welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. It’s about a ten-minute walk into Lofer for shops, restaurants, and the outdoor pool. The area is beautiful, with emerald lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and mountains, and we’ve grown very fond of it. The tourist passes also gave us access to local buses, mountain gondolas, swimming pools, caves, and waterfalls. The apartment’s private garden has loungers, patio furniture, and a BBQ, so it was lovely to relax there too. The apartment feels more like a cosy cottage than a flat, with a warm, home-from-home atmosphere. It’s newly fitted and furnished to a high standard, with plenty of storage and hanging space, which was practical for our larger family. The bed and its giant fluffy pillows were especially comfortable. There’s loads to keep the children occupied, including TV and films, Amazon Alexa, and games. Laura’s two boys were also always happy to play with them in the playground, such sweet boys. There were more amenities than I have at home. If you need anything, Laura will do her best to arrange it. We had an 11-night summer holiday in August and came away feeling this delightful little apartment deserves the credit.

The owners made us feel very welcome, and the apartment has a traditional feel with incredible views. It’s a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. I’ve been before, and I’ll be looking to book again very soon.
