It was cooler up there, which was a welcome break from the heat. The view is lovely, and if you don’t want to take the cable car down, there are routes you can walk instead.

The food was comforting, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. It’s a wonderfully cosy Austrian hotel high on a mountain, just right for a restful getaway. There’s WiFi in the room, but no phone reception, so keep that in mind.
