Breakfast was a serious concern for me. I asked the staff member several times whether the meat was turkey, and she said it was, but pork was served. That felt dishonest and could be dangerous for anyone who can't eat pork for health or religious reasons. The staff were very unfriendly and treated guests like a burden. They apparently kept count of how many cappuccinos someone had and commented on it in public. I've never encountered that kind of behavior in another hotel. It's unprofessional and inappropriate. There was visible mold in the shower during my stay. I hadn't mentioned it in my original review, but maybe I should have, given that the hotel's response to guests has been insulting and disrespectful instead of focusing on cleanliness. I travel often and have stayed at plenty of hotels, but I've never been treated so rudely or unprofessionally. If you expect cleanliness, honesty, and basic courtesy, you'll be disappointed. I'd stay away. -Nuri Ismaili

The renovation looks beautiful and keeps a retro feel. And the breakfast was sensational!
