The staff were very friendly, even when little kids occasionally made a mess of the table, and they have highchairs for babies and children. The food was just as expected, upscale home cooking, served incredibly deliciously. Prices were a little high, though not excessive for this location. We’d be happy to return.

The terrace has a lovely view when the weather cooperates. We ate well, and the daily special is a safe choice. The price felt fair, the portion was just right, and the coffee was good too.

Parking was the main headache during our family trip to Mariazell for the Christmas market. The road closures for the market caused it, so I don't blame the hotel. Inside, the food and service were excellent. The rooms look old-fashioned, but they were clean and worked fine.
