The staff were friendly and professional, taking care of all the little things that made our stay better. Prices felt normal; a bottle of wine with dinner was 39 euro, less than we pay in Zagreb, where we live. We stayed in a huge, very clean suite. The food was amazing, served à la carte rather than as a buffet dinner. New Year’s Eve was very well organized, with a band, and the wellness area was brand new. The pool was big enough for the kids to enjoy. The hotel was absolutely perfect for us, and we’re definitely coming back!

The Hotel Outside left me already thinking about when I could return. The staff were friendly, the food and drinks exquisite, and the facilities and views beautiful. It had everything I wanted from a hotel stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly, and we did have a nice stay, but the hotel wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for. The food was tasty, though fairly traditional, served in small portions with fancy presentation. We’d expected more adventurous flavors, and the vegetarian option was downright boring. For us, a culinary experience means trying something new. The marketing and photos hadn’t led us to expect such a busy setting. There were neighbors on every side, including a kindergarten, and we could hear street noise in the garden. I can see this being a good fit for families or groups, but I wouldn’t book it again for a peaceful weekend with my foodie partner.

Our favorite part was the wild swimming lake, which let us feel immersed in the surrounding nature. The hotel is family-run and intimate, with generous, comfortable rooms and tasty food. We found the whole team really friendly and welcoming. It focuses on sustainability and is surrounded by mountains. The recommended walks and guided hikes also help it stand out. I’d highly recommend staying here!

The room was huge and comfortable, but dinner was the real highlight. The food was superbly tasty, and the menu was very creative. It’s easily one of the best Austrian restaurants I’ve tried. If you stay here, definitely go for the half board.
