Our stay was very disappointing. The food wasn't tasty, the menu was very limited, and the dining was the poorest we've had at hotels in Germany and Austria. Even basic breakfast sausages were missing. At dinner, schnitzel cost an extra €10 compared with other dishes. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and when we asked to cut our stay short by one night, they refused. The spa pool was too cold and always empty, since nobody could really enjoy it. The hotel is usually quite empty, and we understand why: it simply isn't worth the price. Bicycle rental is €45, while in town it's about €20. Everything felt overpriced, and the service wasn't welcoming. We strongly don't recommend staying here. There are much better value hotels in the area.

We had a spacious room with enough storage for a full week's belongings. It hadn't yet been renovated, but that wasn't a problem. The rooms are being refurbished. The facilities were nice, and the swimming pool was a welcome way to relax our tired legs after outings. The staff were all very kind and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Mrs. Cathrin, the owner, checked on guests' satisfaction every day and was always smiling. Her good mood kept us smiling too. We spent a whole vacation week here, full of wonderful food experiences. Some things you just have to experience for yourself :) We usually like discovering new places and rarely return to the same one, but we'd LOVE to RETURN here and expect to be just as happy. The people were really nice, and the hotel was comfortable and seemed to have thought of everything. The pool and sauna area is a blessing and looks gorgeous.

Good food and a nice, inexpensive place. It isn't very busy, and the hotel itself is quite small, so the wellness area could definitely be larger.
