Alpenhotel Kramerwirt & Altes Forsthaus - Kramerwi

Great spot and nice hosts. The room was very spacious, breakfast was good, and there were a few saunas plus a large relaxation area.

The rooftop spa was a great way to relax after skiing, with several saunas, a steam room, and a jacuzzi. Our spacious, comfortable bedroom was well equipped, and the food in the lovely dining room was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. I’d worried about the location at first, but it’s close to the town centre, and the bus stop right outside is the first pickup, so we always got a seat. Routes A or B take just a few minutes to reach the Penkenbahn lift. I first stayed here from 14-21 Feb 2026, and came back for another week with my two children. It was still fantastic, super clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. Highly recommended. Thanks again to everyone for making both stays so enjoyable.

The hotel is right in the town centre, and the service was very friendly and helpful. We had half board, and both the excellent food and very good breakfast made a great start to the day, even though we were in a rush to go hiking. The wellness area and pool saved a rainy day. Our room was big, but too warm for summer, so we slept with the window open. Street noise woke me in the middle of the night. The shower and BD water also came out brown, maybe because the room hadn’t been used for a long time. 😳

We came to Mayrhofen mainly to ski and expected the hotel to be somewhere to sleep, but our stay at Alpenhotel Kramerwirt ended up being more memorable than the skiing. The staff were warm, attentive, and seemed to truly care about our comfort. The bus stop right outside takes you to the lifts in about 5 minutes. Our room had a lovely view of the church and central town. It was spacious, tastefully done, and cozy, with a large modern bathroom, a seating area and table, a great TV, and excellent soundproofing. The cleaning was excellent too, and we slept wonderfully. Meals were a highlight. Breakfast had lots of choice and fresh ingredients, and dinner was a treat each evening, with impressive presentation, flavor, and attention to detail. The restaurant service was fast, friendly, and professional. After skiing, we loved unwinding in the SPA, especially the outdoor pool with its breathtaking views and the different saunas. We’ve stayed in few hotels this good and definitely want to return. Fantastic food, wonderful people, a beautiful room, convenient location, and a top-class SPA made it unforgettable.
