We loved the quiet at night and the garden was beautifully cared for, with outdoor seating to enjoy. The town centre was only a few minutes away on foot. The hotel in Mayrhofen was lovely, with clean rooms, a healthy breakfast, a beautiful setting, and kind service from everyone. We had a really enjoyable week. Thanks to everyone at the Almhof for making the stay so special.

A pleasant place to stay, and the people were sweet ☺️. It’s close to the city, with a ski bus stopping right outside the house.

The room was perfectly acceptable, though the style felt a little dated. Everything was clean and tidy, and breakfast had a good Austrian selection: cereal, dried fruit and nuts, bread, cheese, sliced meats, coffee, and fruit drink. A toaster and eggs would be nice to have on my next visit. The filament bulbs were dim, as they seem to be in Austrian hotels. It’s about time someone introduced them to LEDs!

The staff were impatient, and checkout was at 10:00. The rooms are tiny and there’s no storage room. Breakfast was a basic Austrian one. For skiing, the location only really works if you rely on buses, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the centre.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean with a view. It’s about a 10-minute walk into Mayrohfen, near all the amenities. I’d definitely recommend checking the place out, and taking a swim in the fresh water pond 🏊♂️.
