Hotel Garni Glockenstuhl

Breakfast was a real feast, delicious and pampering, and the rooms had a breathtaking view. They were spotless and extremely comfortable. Elisabeth and her sisters welcomed us so warmly and went out of their way to help with everything we needed. Our stay at Hotel Garni Glockenstuhl was a spectacular 10/10. We have nothing but good things to say about this wonderful hotel. If you’re looking for a perfect stay, highly, highly recommended!

The breakfast was super, everything fresh, delicious, and prepared to a high standard. But it was the service that really made the difference. Elizabeth and her sisters were always smiling and so sweet, making sure everyone was happy. They welcomed us with such warmth that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. I left very satisfied after an amazing stay in Mayrhofen, and highly recommend this place. Thank you for everything!

We stayed six nights for skiing. Frau Elizabeth was welcoming, and the other staff were just as friendly. The hotel is small and very nice, with good rooms and a wide breakfast selection, including eggs made to order. The ski bus stops at the end of the driveway, or it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Penkenbahn gondola. There’s also a storage room for ski gear. Recommended! One unusual detail: they only take cash or bank transfer, no credit cards.

Just a short walk from the town centre, and there’s a lift and free parking. I didn’t try the sauna, but the fireplace in the lobby sitting area was lovely. Breakfast had the usual fresh alpine selection, plus eggs cooked to order, great bacon, and coffee whenever you wanted. My room was sparkling clean, the bed was comfy, and there was even a cooking area. The two sisters and their staff kept checking that I was happy. Since I arrived just before the Christmas rush and asked for a view, they upgraded me to a suite facing the mountains. It had a panoramic sitting area and a welcome schnapps, which made me gasp. Definitely the warmest, best place to stay in Mayrhofen!
