The sauna village was the standout for us. It covers several floors, is restricted to guests 16 and over, and has an impressive mix of saunas, beautifully designed places to unwind, and even pools where clothing is optional. It’s a great balance of wandering around and switching off. We spent six nights in the last week of August 2025, our first visit, and came away having had a wonderful time. The service is clearly a priority throughout the hotel. Our double room, “Balance,” was in the recently renovated Obstgartl 1 building. It was roomy, with a quiet, effective air conditioner, a pleasant balcony, a comfortable bed, and excellent bathroom and shower facilities. The natural and modern design worked well together. Housekeeping was friendly, polite, and thorough, and the room looked freshly done every day. Food was another major plus. Breakfast and dinner were luxurious, and dinner changed daily with plenty of choice. We were shown to a table on the first evening and kept it for the rest of our stay. Every dish we tried tasted good and looked lovely. Portions are small to reduce waste, which we appreciated, and you can order as much as you like at no extra charge. The pools are attractive and there are lots of them, with areas meant for families and noisier activity as well as quieter swimming and relaxation spaces where children under 12 and loud noise aren’t allowed. That separation didn’t really hold during our stay, though, and small, often noisy children were nearly always in the main relaxation pool with their parents. The so-called infinity pool is beautiful, but its edge isn’t transparent enough to blend the water into the horizon, so the name felt off to me. Poolside drinks were another weak spot: the pool bar has limited choices, served in smaller portions than at the regular hotel bar and at even higher prices. It would be nice to have better access to drinks by the pools. Still, the pools and especially the many comfortable loungers were very nice. Drinks at the bar are generally well served and the selection is broad, though alcoholic drinks cost extra and are steeply priced, as you’d expect in a high-end hotel. Draft beer choices could be wider. Cocktails were inconsistent and, to our taste, mostly just okay; a few weren’t good at all, and I sent back the bloody mary I tried. At 15-20 euros when we visited, we expected more. There are still plenty of good drinks to choose from. We’d gladly return and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for having us!

I always look forward to coming back here. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and the service is excellent. You can tell the interiors were put together thoughtfully and with real care. In autumn, the fireplace and calming spa are wonderful, like a natural lift for your mood. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place, and even though it’s a little pricey, I thought it was worth it. I’d definitely recommend it.
